Instructions for Issuing Recommends to Enter a Temple

To qualify for the blessings of the temple, each member must ensure that his or her life is in harmony with the teachings of the Church. Before going to the temple, each person is interviewed by their bishop and stake president. Bishops and stake presidents ask several questions concerning that member’s worthiness to qualify for a temple recommend. This document lists the questions asked in a temple recommend interview.
